Sherry Schultz, Chief Human Resources Officer at Walser Automotive Group, is this week’s featured guest on The Best Team Wins podcast. Last week, my team at Hireology hosted Elevate 2018, the only retail automotive summit dedicated to human capital management. This week’s episode features a recording of Sherry’s presentation on The Future of Dealership Human Capital Management.
During the presentation, Sherry spoke about the importance of building a strong employment brand and talent community, and how word of mouse is quickly replacing word of mouth when it comes to recruiting, along with other human capital trends impacting retail automotive.
Sherry has extensive experience as an HR leader across industries. Prior to Walser Automotive, Sherry held roles as SVP, CHRO at Catalyst Capital, LLC and VP, Talent Acquisition and Diversity at Sears Holdings Corporation. In earlier years, Sherry was the Director of Global Talent, Development and Diversity at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Before joining Goodyear, Sherry spent 9 years with Pepsi Bottling Group in several diverse HR leadership roles.
